Koninklijke Harmoniekapel Delft

The Koninklijke Harmoniekapel Delft (Royal Wind Orchestra Delft) can be characterized as follows:
  • We are making music at a very decent level;
  • There is a concert band, called "De Kapel" (about 75 musicians);
  • And there is a second band, called "De Aspiranten" (about 35 musicians);
  • Both orchestras perform 5-10 times a year;
  • There are no marching appearances;
  • The repertoire is diversified and attractive;
  • And last but not least: the atmosphere is very pleasant.
If you are interested to play in one of our orchestras, or if you would like to get any other information, please contact our secretary. You are also welcome to visit one of our rehearsals. If you have played in an orchestra before, you can take your instrument with you to join a rehearsal. If you only play shortly, or if you intend to do so, please inform for the possibilities for music lessons.

Note: also if you will stay in/near Delft only for a limited period of time (some months, some years) you are welcome to join!

Next appearances

  • Saturday 14 April 2012: concert by both orchestras. More information to be announced.
  • 26 April - 6 May 2012: trip to China by De Kapel.
